Regally beautiful natural mother-of-pearl is the closest relative of pearls, which are known to mature in the shells of sea mollusks. The inside of the "house" of mollusks is simply magically beautiful: the walls of the shells are covered with an iridescent-iridescent layer - this is mother-of-pearl, which takes the main part in the formation of pearls. Pearls and mother-of-pearl have the same composition. Perlmutter is translated from German as “mother of pearls”.
